Peter A. (Pete) DiSalvo, CPA has been an accounting and tax professional for over 30 years working primarily with small and medium sized businesses and individual clients. Upon graduation from Florida Atlantic University in 1981 he founded his own CPA firm, which he still heads today. He became a Florida Certified Public Accountant in 1984. Pete honed his knowledge and understanding of the accounting process by providing bookkeeping, compilation and review services. These services were provided for many different types of businesses including banks, construction companies, physicians, lawyers, automobile dealers, wholesale and retail distributors, Homeowners Associations and more, but with a concentration in Small to Medium sized family businesses.
Pete has assisted clients in setting up their own businesses including their accounting systems using QuickBooks and Peachtree accounting software. Pete is in the QuickBooks Affiliate program.
Having prepared tax returns for over 30 years, Pete has a vast understanding of the income tax code and knows how to navigate through its complexities. He has prepared complicated consolidated corporate income tax returns as well as returns for subchapter S corporations, limited liability companies (LLCs), and partnerships. He has prepared complex multi-state individual returns as well as the simplest returns. Other tax preparation experience includes returns for estates, trusts, non-profits, Homeowners Associations and qualified plans. Pete has also successfully represented clients through the IRS tax examination process, helping thousands of clients with IRS back taxes and unfiled returns owed, and assisted them in obtaining payment plans.
Pete is a member of the American Institute Of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Indian River County Chamber Of Commerce and the Vero Beach Christian Business Association. He is the proud son of Sicilian Immigrants.
